An Epic of Miniature Proportion: Wedding Movies Now Playing on Apple iPod

An Epic of Miniature Proportion: Wedding Movies Now Playing on Apple iPod®
SAN FRANCISCO, California (PRWEB) May 9, 2006
Savadelis Films, award-winning wedding cinematographers, today introduced âVignettesâ, wedding movie trailers delivered on Apple iPods®. Now brides and grooms can share scenes and sounds of their wedding with anyone, anywhere, anytime on their â bridepodâ.
Former President of the northern California chapter of June Weddings, Inc, and popular wedding planner Jubilee Lau of Jubilee Lau Events notes that âBeing able to show wedding movie trailers on an iPod is a great stride forward for the videography industry.
âAfter the wedding, a bride and groom want to casually share the experiences with friends, as they do when they flip through a photo album. With the introduction of inexpensive portable devices like the iPod, the advent of high definition, and the improvement in the quality of wedding movies to the level of major motion pictures, I see more brides and grooms hiring videographers and cinematographers. This will eliminate one of the top regrets I hear from brides after their big day, that they didnât get a wedding video.â
James and Sylvia Chen wed on March 25, 2006 at Hakone gardens in the lush foothills overlooking the quaint town of Saratoga, California. This is where some scenes from the Academy-Award® winning movie Memoirs of a Geisha were filmed.
When the couple arrived home from their honeymoon in Bora Bora, a small package was waiting for them. âThat was an awesome surprise! We are blown away!â said Sylvia. âWe must have watched the iPod movie trailer 100 times in the first 24 hours, then plugged it into the computer so we could watch it 10 more times on the big screen.â
âWe had a lot of unconnected memories from our wedding,â said James. But seeing the movie trailer pulled them all together. It all flowed so naturally and it showed Sylviaâs true personality – her bouncy, cheerful self.
âI think my favorite part is seeing my own reaction when I opened the shoji screen and saw Sylvia in her wedding gown for the first time. All the feelings I felt at that moment flooded back. And when I see myself whispering in her ear, I remember exactly what I said. That was the highlight of the best day of my life and it was captured perfectly.
âWe never knew how much we would value our memories. And this is just the two-minute preview! (View the Vignette at http://www.savadelis.com/movies/memoirsofawedding.mov). Honestly, itâs better than so many of the movie trailers you see in the theater because even if people donât know us, theyâd want to watch and see how the story ends. Now that we have it on an iPod, we canât wait to take it to the office to show everyone.â
For Sylvia and James, the wedding has come and gone, but the drama continues.
