I know Sinestro was a villain in the Green Lantern comics, but based on the newest trailer for the “Green Lantern” movie, it dosen’t exactly look like he’s a real villain. Is Sinestro a bad guy in the film version or not?

I’m not too versed in the Green Lantern universe, but I think Sinestro used to be a Green Lantern Corps before making his own “faction.” I’m guessing the movie will take place before he turns to chaos.

He might be, he might not be.
It looks like Hector Hammond is the main antagonist in the movie, along with Parallax.
But not really Sinestro.
They could surprise us though by making him a villain too.
But he could be the antagonist in the sequel is there is one.
We’ll just have to see when the movie comes out!
