as much as i love halo, im sorry to burst your nerd bubbles but this is more than likely not going to become a movie, and if it does its only going to be some animated piece o’crap
hm.. the first actor – i can’t remember his name – but i saw him in Alien 3 , Dragonheart and one other movie.He acted in others as well – and he agreed to be a part of fan film . Cool

fake. As soon as i saw the “miniature” set i knew. How? It was a fucking advertisement for Halo fucking 3, just like the live action battle that was like 10 minutes long.
Well we can’t do much if we’re so smart at computers, if we stop making these things then we would forget everything about it. sometimes in life, you have to lie to others to get their attention.

So everyone knows, this IS a fake. The footage is from the opening 8 minutes (which is probably real somewhat) footage and Halo 3 Trailers/cinematics/cutscenes. Scew you IGN! Everyone Thumbs this comment up so everyone can see that it’s a fake.

@Ninjas2040 well in ‘knowing’ the entire world gets destroyed and i cant remember the day the earth stood still but there was definitely some conflict and destruction in that film. my point is that every alien film involves some sort of conflict, which more often than not entails the invasion of earth and destruction or attempted destruction of the human race. to my knowledge, there is no film in which aliens and humans interact in a positive, non violent way (except star wars obviously)

@bighungrybear20 You forget ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still’ & ‘Knowing’ when you said film makers are yet to explore aliens that land for purposes other then to destroy or exterminate or take over. Unless you haven’t seen those movies, which in that case you didn’t know to begin with.

@NevadaWrangler indeed, south africa. my apologies, im geographically retarded as you can see haha. and you make a good point, all alien films seem to focus on hostility and invasion. film makers are yet to explore the possibility that aliens may land on earth for purposes other than destruction and extermination. although district 9 wasn’t all about eradication, it also featured scenes in which humans and aliens attempted to communicate non violently with one another.
@shpared Wouldn’t it be so awesome if America decided to create epic martyrdom and nuked the whole world. Then at the end of the movie it would be like “No-one survived.” And then after the end credits you see like three aliens stand up. And we are left to believe that they carry on to form a new civilization on Earth. Thus re-starting the mass-extermination cycle that happens like every ice age and shit (like what killed the dinosaurs). And instead of humans it’s these aliens from now on.

This is better more action & and a chance of victory unlike Skyline which is all talk and no chance of survival .

@bighungrybear20 Well I hate to be a debbie downer but South Africa is not in the middle east. And also, it may be a good idea what would happen if the aliens were stranded here and not hell bent on occupation or eradication, but there might be hostile alien species out there as well……a visit from them has at least a chance of looking like this movie right here.
